I'd add sharpening stones. Being able to put a razor edge on a good knife is invaluable.
A few more items:
Axe & chainsaw, bar & chain oil & extra chains
Tools of all sorts
Knowledge...using your tools, doing projects, developing a troubleshooting and Mr. FixIt skillset

someone here was trying to grow tobacco at one point, for the life of me I can't remember who, might have been ashleigh11
I tried it once; turned out to be basil seed that I was duped into buying from some shady character on ebay. I should have known better when the seller's handle was something like "BillyBobJack's Rare Seeds". My wife has never let me live it down; I had an entire 20 x 20 patch of what I thought was tobacco and ended up being basil. We made so much pesto that year...

I grow some tobacco here in Michigan. It needs to be started indoors in Feb to have a long enough growing season. I made a cheap humidor out of OSB for curing. It's more of a novelty than anything else, but I don't have to buy chew.
The flowers are a pretty pink and purple. A couple of the neighbors asked what they were and I just shrugged and said "I dunno". I didn't want my plants harvested for me (I grow them on the south side between the house and the sidewalk)

I think the real question is were you able to get the family cow back?
