I came across this system called the autopot, I'm looking at it and brainstorming, this looks like something that could be done pretty simple for the diyer, could do above raised beds and still have plantings in raised beds of a more low bush type veg

neighbors grow cantalopes and cucumbers on lattice work set up on the end of their patio every year

I wonder how well the plastic lattice would hold up, i'm guessing cattle panels would be best
