LOL!!! I have to admit that I'm a kitchen person and are drawn to gadgets BUT I also enjoy keeping my life as simple and direct as possible so have managed to not get sucked into such silly iwannasees as these VERY silly offerings. Good for Alton to remind us of how sales oriented we have become! I remain a 'spoon & bowl' gal, still using the 1940s Hamilton Beach mixer that my mother had and was used all thru my childhood. It not only remains a strong mixer, its more energy efficient than any newer appliance AND stores more compact too.
And a big thank you for the brownie tip - like DUH! cupcake pans! Will be using those next time I bake brownies.
