We started noticing that these bugs were on our squash plants a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what they are. They haven't bothered any of the other plants, just the squash.
edit: sorry the first picture uploaded kind of funny but you can still see them.
Hopefully the seven dust I put on the plants will get rid of them. Any one else have issues with these?

I have seen them or something similar before but wow that is a infestation.
Burn it ... burn it with fire.
Seven Dust a pesticide of some kind? Sorry I do not know much about using them.

squash bug or squash borer. get some neem oil if organic or malathion if not organic. they will attack the bases of the plant, bore into stems and wilt the leaves eventually killing the plant. when you see the larvae in the stems its bad news.
they attacks squash, zucchini, pumpkins etc.
And the monkey presses the button.
