The lettuce and the snow peas are done, the swiss chard seems to be still alive, but not doing anything progress wise.

I've got the start of some small heads on my broccoli! I've never grown broccoli before so it's pretty exiting.

So it was snowing a bit yesterday, and since I had the day off I decided I needed to spend some time making a stable "greenhouse" for my garden.

Sandy was not kind to my sister's Yome. It went from looking like this:

While I was taking it down I cam across a lot of good materials for re-purposing, which I will put to good use at some point here soon. Among those materials were a few tent poles used for ceiling supports.

The have a convenient eyelet at the top of the poles, and as soon as I saw them I knew what I wanted to do with them.

I took a sledgehammer and knocked a row right down the center of my beds. I just kind of eyeballed the height of each . No need to be perfect on this one, it just has to work!
