no, not a true biltong, more of a quick experiment to see if I could speed the process up when I finished my smoker

I was going to ask you if that picture that keeps popping up at the top of the page was a pic of you making biltong?

I haven't made any yet, but I'm committed to giving it a try. If that is your biltong in the pic, did you follow Jack's videos when you made it? I've looked around, and it seems like there are quite a few different schools of thought on how to make it. Jack's seems pretty simple, so I'll probably follow his lead when I make my own.
