I know DD has been talking about it, if you do do you aerate it? the couple examples posted on here have shown a fish tank air pump inserted for aeration, this one does not

I made it last year by putting compost in an old pillow case and leaving it in a 5gal bucket of water. Every few days I would transfer from one bucket to another to aerate. Last year was my first year with a real garden, so I cant really gauge any improvements because of the tea since I didnt have a control group. Maybe I'll try some plants with and some without this year to measure any differences.

I've had some success using a 35gal compost tumbler with screening to separate the tea. I've used it on grass to test the efficacy and it def. works well. With grass you can cut it quite a bit with water and still get a lot of benefit.
I'm going to try a few garden plants the same way this year and see how it works.

This one's pretty cheap, and it's what comes with the tea brewing kit from Peaceful Valley
