video is 5 mins long. Time well spent.

This system produces 1000 plus heads of lettuce to sell per week. A net profit of between 1k and 3k per week.

This is only the hydro side of it and does not include any profit from the fish tanks.

They have a nice plan.

It looks as if they have 2 fish tanks in the middle.

Then they have 30 (5 sets of 6 pipes) pvc pipe rows on the left of the tanks and another 30 on the right of the tanks.

My guess is that they are running one pump to feed the left side and another pump to feed the right side.

So 2 - 1HP pumps running 24/7 would cost under $200.00 per month to run.

I didn't see any artificial lighting, so no extra costs there.

In the winter, they would have to use a heater to heat he fish tanks. This could get expensive!

This is why I have considered using a biodigester and use the beneficial fish waste to heat the water and the greenhouse in the winter.

Your pool equipment will use about $55.00 to $75.00 per month to run depending on horse power if it ran 24/7.

How much would you need to heat it with being in florida? I have been looking at my pond and wondering how I could build a floating system for it during the summer months, I need to brainstorm this

You could ......

build a growing table next to the pond (place so the water drains back into the pond) and pump water to the top of the table and let it drain downward, back into the pond.

In Florida I could use solar heating to heat it. But won't be fish farming here. Will be up in the mountains and the winters do sometimes get angry cold. Not like Maine, but still, it does snow and freeze frequently.
