The OneDerBrew Brew Shop

5 Gallon Uni-Tank

The Onederbrew™ sytem consists of a 60 degree cone coupled to a standard 5 gallon pail with multiple ports, and pressure control features to allow homebrewers better control of the fermentation, clarification and carbonation phases of making beer. Beer can also be chilled and dispensed all from the same container.

Because the beer is under pressure you don't have to allow any air in to take a sample, so it is simple, safe and highly recommended to sample beer throughout the fermentation.

Yeast propagation is simple, a shot of active yeast can be extracted at any time during fermentation, or dormant yeast can be pulled from the base of the cone after it has settled. Again the pressure makes this process safe and effective.

The pressure relief ports are designed to hold pressure around 15 psi, but can also be adjusted.. If pressure goes above this, open the pressure relief ports a little to drop it back down. The safety relief bung at the bottom of the bucket will blow out at 20 to 25 psi so keep pressure below that.

When fermentation is complete move the whole unit to a refrigerator. The lower temperatures will help drop the yeast out of suspension.

Beer can be bottled or consumed when you think it is ready.

Enjoy!

Never seen one like that before. I would be concerned about the 20-25 psi valve on the bottom. Hate for it to fail at a lower psi and have a 5 gallon beer river in your closet or fermentation chamber!!!
