Cookies. Who likes cookies?

here is my favorite cookie receipt at the moment.

1 stick butter

1/2 cup raw sugar

1/2 cup dark maple syrup

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

2 eggs

approx 2 cups WW flour

2 cups nuts chopped really fine. I like local black walnuts and hickory nuts half and half.

Soften the butter and ad the nuts, sugar maple syrup vanilla and salt. Mix well and let it stand for an hour so that the nuts absorb the maple flavor.

add the eggs and beat. Add the flour and baking powder. Mix well and put in  the fridge till solid.

I bake them at 350 degrees till the top is solid.
