I like the idea, no issues with rotting wood, a diy version should be a heck of a lot cheaper though

I don't know if you remember my beds made from steel roof panels or not, I think I posted about them. But anyway, they are holding up and working really well. If you make them deep you can put a layer of firewood or branches in the bottom before adding dirt. The wood acts as a water sponge which helps with dry periods. We saw a big difference in watering needs. Also, the deeper beds were perfect for carrots to go crazy in.

The ones you posted are prettier than mine. It seems like everything we accomplish here is practical rather than pretty. I kind of envy the folks who manage to accomplish both, I just can't manage it yet. Always in such a hurry.

I really like these. Wonder how they would work in our Texas heat? I sure like them. I have some panels left from the house build, and would make good ones. Concerned with the Texas heat on the metal.

that's a valid concern, wonder if some of the foil board insulation on the inside of it would help
