Well after lots of reading and searching, I finally decided to try my hand at growing garlic. Everyone says that it is easy so I decided why not.   A trip to the local Wal-Mart produce section and I came home with a few large bulbs for eating and planting.

I threw my dry dirt in the flower plot got it wet waited for the buds to sprout in the fridge cause they need a cold dark period to jump start the process or you have to wait on Mother Nature.

Planted them when the sprouts were little bitty and checked them today

So far so good.

Right now I am planning on leaving them as I am out of pots and soil.  They would do better in separate pots for sure.

This plant grows fast the shoots are already 3-4 inches in height in lease than a week. I have never had good luck growing potatoes at all, container or ground. Never got them to bud.
