At Lufa Farms, energy is optimized. Although the greenhouse is heated during the winter nights, it enjoys the warmth of the building below and the sun through the windows. Furthermore, thermal curtains are used to maintain the heat overnight. As the products is being sold directly to consumers through picking points, no need to refrigerate food.
