SO I bought three herb plants from my daughters plant sale at school.

Rosemary, Basil, and Oregano.

I know nothing about growing and harvesting herbs.

Help!

I would do a raised bed same as the rest of your garden, it works well for us, how many of each herb did you get? wait a minute your daughter bought some herb at school? this smells mighty fishy son

Its just a single plant of each.

I will keep them here at home. Aside from watering them, I dont know what to do.

well those are all perennials, I would plant them at your dads, you will have them for years

my mom in law says if i want my herbs to grow better that i should cut them back and use them (not wait ) for them to get large.

my herbs i bought as plants are not doing great. still waiting for the seeds to do more than just sprout

I have always had better success direct seeding as well, lol my first triple post,
