finally after 5 years, looks like my threats of sending it through a wood chipper worked last fall!

I don't think my peach made it though :(

well that's good news!

Sorry about the peach though.  I had to replace a 3 yr old cherry that got decimated last summer by beetles so I feel your pain.

Luckily all the stuff in the food forest is looking great so far!  Hope you enjoy the plums this summer!

yeah, this is the last peach out of three, if this one doesn't make it, I'm switching to pears, you have any pics of the food forest?

Id post one by we have all personal storage blocked at work, so no access to photobucket, tinypic etc.

Is there a way I can just post a pic stored on my C: drive?

Otherwise I can try to post it later tonight.

Lol, Oh jeez, it was right there in front of me!

20140518_122323.jpg

7 trees, 7 siberian pea shrubs, cover crop of legume, vetch and red clover.  Tomatoes, potatoes, lemon balm and heirloom soy are all planted into the swales.

I put a trellis with about 15 raspberry plants in the back.  In the front I planted 2 honeyberries and 2 goose berries.

Between the swales we planted watermelon, cantaloupe, squashes and pumpkins.

Looking good KVR; I have a 5th year pear tree that I am about to make hotdog roasting sticks out of pretty quick here if it doesn't put out some fruit. Laugh Glad you are having some success.
