cool site-lots of good information. great prices.
he'll ship anywhere, but because the cali gov't requires a $48 state seal on all orders he suggests other shippers.
"Outside California Orders: We ship mostly to the underserved area of Southern California. For other states, we have to include a Certificate of Inspection that we are are charged $48 for. The budget-strapped County Ag dept. now uses the Federal PCIT online system which no longer allows us to split this cost between orders. For overseas shipments, click here to see instructions.
For those east of the Mississippi, we recommend our friends at Big Horse Creek Farm in North Carolina or Century Farm Orchards, also in North Carolina. For the Northwest, Trees of Antiquity in Northern California can help you out. For you poor folks up in the far North, Fedco Seeds carries cold-tolerant varieties that survive the frigid winters. In the Midwest Wagon Wheel Orchard is now selling bengrafts from their monster list. Finally, for our British friends and those back East, Orange Pippin.com is a wealth of information and carries trees suited for England."
i looked up Wagon Wheel Orchard and their prices are the same. $10 a tree is an awesome price.
