How to Make Ice Cream in a Bag | Food Production and Preservation | Forums

The boys do that at cub scout day camp.  They normally wrap the bag in a towel to make sure noone gets burned by the ice.  I will say it's a lot harder than it looks, and rarely do you get the consistency where you can scoop it out with an ice cream scoop.  It's usually more like soft serve or a milk shake.

It probably would, but at Day Camp, we didn't have access to one. 😉

That was a different troop that we ended up not joining.  Damn, they made good food for the adults!

That's pretty cool.  I should give it a try with the kids sometime this summer.
