What is the point of using refillable kcup? Why not just use a good old standard filter coffee maker?

I guess for people that don't want to drink a whole pot, everyone in my family drinks coffee except for me. Them 3 go through like 2 pots every morning

Pretty much what Kvr said. I drive a school bus and if I have more than one cup before work about halfway through my morning I gotta piss like nobody's business. So there would be no point in making an entire pot for me as I don't drink coffee throughout the day.

Also, the keurig is pretty quick. It'll make a cup in a couple of minutes.
