I believe pork and kraut is pretty much a paleo meal as it is, it's the sweet potatoes that make the difference for us. Normally we have mashed potatoes, biscuits and succulent flour based gravy,mmmmm gravy
So I grabbed some items out of the pantry
I set a layer of chops into the crockpot
and covered with some kraut
another layer of chops
and covered with some kraut
and set it on high for 4 hours
I then peeled the sweet potatoes
and chopped them up and threw them into a pan, I drizzled some honey and put 3 tbsp of butter on top, wrapped it with foil and stuck into the woodstove
a hour later it was done, 730 calories and awesome
