we had crazy wind last night and rain, had lightened up by this afternoon, then suddenly we had about 10 minutes if highly sustained winds, lost power, awesome. I ran outside to check on the restaurant and saw this

got the trampoline removed and noticed the trunk was split somewhat

so I grabbed some tree wound dressing and tree wrap

and dried off the trunk as good as possible and applied some dressing

I wrapped it up good and now it's time to just wait. Remember the thread about shocking a tree to fruit? Well if this thing lives and starts bearing this year, I am gonna go snap over all the trees next winter

I think I might use the trampoline as a chicken tractor now

Whoa. I've used Olivia's cloning gels as a plant wound wrap before. it works pretty good, sometimes it'll start growing roots out of the wound site tho... not sure if that's good or bad...
