Here is a very simple Mushroom Sauce.

iFMvaSc.jpg

About 3 cups mushrooms

1/4 Butter/Margarine

1/2 cup Chicken Broth

2 tablespoons all purpose flour.

Optional: 1tbs chopped fresh parsley(add to Sauce when almost finished)

              Onion (add to preference)

I chopped a small amount of cilantro leaves and added them

Add anything in the fridge you think might go well

Brown the Mushrooms into the butter until they start to brown and the juices start to seep out of the Mushrooms(could also add the Onions at this point although I waited until adding the Flour and Broth).

Sprinkle on the flour and add the chicken broth. Stir it up. Add a little more Chicken Broth and stir. Sauce will settle and be a nice creamy texture. Also add any other ingredients while mixing together.

Add any seasonings to taste.

I used this sauce over some Chicken Breasts I seasoned with Lemon Pepper and Baked in the oven. Had a very good Mushroom taste.

Not so much a sauce, but a super easy, terribly tasty trick. Take a stick of butter, throw it in a med high pan leave it there until the milk solids are good and burned, poor it over a lb of cooked spaghetti, add Parmesan to your liking, serve with a chicken breast or thigh and your choice veg, I like asparagus or broccoli. My friends mom called it Greek spaghetti, I just call it delicious.

I tired this tonight, I had to sub 1 tsp of corn starch for the flour but followed the recipe otherwise. Turned out great, and was super tasty!
