Short ribs with Korean flavors is one of my favorite slow cooker meals.  A Korean neighbor of mine growing up would drop off food every once in a while.  Her family wouldn't touch it (she married an American GI) and my dad served in Korea and missed the food.

I like the recipe from Garde Manger. Braised in wine sauce and served with a slice of Cambozola on it.
