WOW what a haul of carrots. I also did a 4x4 area. Mine didn't want to seem to grow. Had nice tops but no root growth. Biggest was only 2 in max. Planted on 3-17..supposed to have been 65-75 days. Hell i left them in ground probably 5 months. I would pull one out to check here and there.

I need to mix my soil better, must have a high clay content. I filled my boxes with a garden mix from a landscape yard. Tilled nicely but would get very hard.

made from 2 X 12's but only about 9 inches deep gonna add another 2x4 and fill to the top.
