what would you guys like to see in it? I have bought several of the ones on the market to test and I feel a lot of the seeds are thrown in for filler, do you really need enough seeds to plant 8000 cauliflower? Obviously at some point we need to start generating some revenue to offset the costs of running this place, so I was thinking of doing a seed bank. The president of one of the largest seed companies on the east coast has a summer camp near us and comes into our restaurant weekly during the summer. I have sat down and talked with him on numerous occasions, so we have a source for seeds. I was just curious what you guys would be looking from a seedbank.

I'd add to Vapor's list Cucumbers, Lettuces/Spinach.

Are we talking open pollinated heirloom varieties?

I think seed potatos would really increase the cost of shipping, compared to other seeds by weight at least. I would like to see several types of squash (butternut, acorn, spagetti), pumpkins, also a variety of peppers(jalepeno, serrano, hungarian), cantalope, watermelon, musk melon, honeydew. I don't think that you would need an abundance of each, especially if they are heirloom and the harvest would provide plenty of seed for the next year. I think having varieties of each subgroup would be attractive, or perhaps seed banks based on the zone you live in. I am excited about the idea.
