She appreciates the cost savings and convenience.  When I layed out how much money my modest investment every year was saving, and when she sends the kids out to the garden to have a snack she's on board.  She didn't even give me a hassle when I came home with the T5 light the other day and set up shop in my tool room.

As for coming to the dark side, I don't know about that!

Just finally got my garden in last weekend.  Had to put up a perimeter fence to keep goats & chickens out (we let goats & chickens out in evenings to free range), so WE can have some of the produce, lol.

Home to 17 very spoiled hens & 3 Nigerian Dwarf Wethers.

went away for the weekend and almost lost all of the lettuce in the greenhouse.  Luckily some of it recovered after a deep watering.  I'll try to get it all into the ground this week.  The tomatoes and peppers loved it though.  Probably got up over 100 in there even with the window open.

No, got a new one with an aluminum frame and poly panels.  really does a good job of holding the heat in at night.  I have a stone floor and about 12 five gallon buckets that I spray painted flat black to absorb heat during the day and disperse it overnight.  I get out to the greenhouse about 6am every morning and when I check the temp it's always been 8-10 degrees warmer than outside.  Pretty useful!
