5 videos breaking down how much more food you can grow using the square foot method as opposed to traditional row gardening.

It's pretty amazing how much food you can grow in a small space!

I can sum this argument up in one word.

Weeds.

Where we used to do a garden would grow weeds with roots that went on for several feet. Im talking about the most established root system in my state, lol.

Nothing Monsanto makes could touch this, Im sure of it.

My dad refused to let me do a SFG until now. He still calls it an experiment.

I can reach down and pluck weeds with almost no effort. Im sure they will grow in over years. Who knows, but at least I can make my though it.

I agree about the weeds. Since starting my sfg this year, I think I have pulled a grand total of about 6 or 7 weeds from my beds, and I've been able to catch them as soon as they sprout.

Same. My yard is absolutely full of weeds. My beds however are not. Easy to spot and yank.
