Trout and Salmon like cold water. Here in lakes they will go waaaaay down there, well past 30/40 ft. Or they are in streams.

Id just ask the fishery. Tell them your pond size and they will tell you what to do. Im guessing it will be the whitefish.

was talking to a couple of neighbors, they recommend brown trout, I will call the hatchery later today

what about panfish? like bluegills, etc...

easy to catch, good eating, and in a pond like that with little to nothing to prey on them, they could get very large

illegal to take fish out of the wild and transport to stock a personal pond here unfortunately, I'd love to get some catfish in there
