Well, I've procrastinated so much that now Im in a furious race to finish. We got an email 2 weeks ago that all work needs to be done by Aug 31. I was still about 20% done at that point. So basically, I've been spending every lunch hour at work and an hour or two at night trying to finish up. I should be able to finish with some time to spare, but I learned a big lesson on time management. What can I say, I usually only learn the hard way. Good news is that things are starting to click.

So this week we all got an email that the deadline was extended by a month. The final design needs to be submitted by the end of September. WHew..I was going to finish on time, but I did feel a bit rushed. Im pretty close to being done with all the content. Once I finish up with that I'll take the test and then start working on my design. I'll probably do my property since I already have some ideas. I think I'll just eyeball it since I dont want to walk the whole property with an A frame level mark the contour lines. Once the design is submitted, I should get my PDC certificate from Geoff Lawton!

You use the A frame to mark level points on your landscape. If you flag all the level points you can then determine your contour lines to plan water features like swales and ponds
