Basically they cant be sued for engineering seeds, which become our food, that then could cause health problems?

it basically bars the courts from being able to stop the planting and sale of gmo's and keeps them from being sued, only good thing is it is only for 6 months, unless they make another law in that time frame

I still dont get how they can continue the production and distriblution of GMOs even if there's a court order against it. How is that possible? Also, the slime that slipped in the legislation did it anonymously. Nothing like screwing the general population and not having the stones to put your name on it.
