So we found our first three eggs this morning! With all the work I've been doing (school, garden, work projects, etc.) I lost track of time and didnt expect any yet so it was a big surprise when I went to put more pine shavings in the coop!

Those look awesome. Love the different shapes/colours.

Does anyone have trick for peeling boiled eggs from fresh eggs? I find fresh eggs are nearly impossible to peel after being boiled.

That's awesome GC! Congrats! I haven't seen a single egg or any sign eggs are close. My last remaining Amberlink is getting to be of age but my new replacement birds are a few weeks younger, so I will have to wait longer to get any from them.

either let them age for a week or more, or boil them, put in cold water to chill them and reboil if needed, usually just immersing in cold water will do the trick

Back in my younger and more single days I ate a lot of hard boiled eggs. I would boil store-bought eggs for 2x to 3x recommended length so they would contract a bit before peeling them. They would basically fall out of the cracked shells.

had all three of them over-easy for breakfast yesterday. They were awesome!

Yeah, the only trick I know about getting hard boiled eggs out of the shells is to let them age
