I make some pretty damn good dill pickles, fermented pickles, bbq sauces, etc.

I was thinking about selling some jars as a side project.

I have a graphic designer friend that can design labels for me. I think i could really hit the market of the hipsters arts and crafts fairs kind of things we have here.

Tell me pointer, things to consider, etc.

Or just tell me not to do it.

I would go for it, there was someone on the sg who's sister did this and it transitioned into her main business, I can't remember who that was for the life of me now. Is there a maximum with the permit you are allowed to sell in a year?

doesn't say.

The maximum would probably more for taxes. I think if i sell for less than 10k/year i don't have to charge sales tax and all.

well I believe in going all in on everything I would do, you could make a pretty cheap website on a shared hosting account and have a small store on there, put the site address on the labels, business cards ect that way you can tape them on top of the jars if the hipsters want to order more
