Haha. The quick attach is awesome. It takes some setting up to make sure that you can switch from one implement to another. I had it 'set up' for my rear blade and when I went to pick up the carry all it wouldn't connect. I needed to lower the adjustable hook and then it fit both the carry all and the rear blade. So much easier than trying to wrestle with sticking pins in, lifting with my back, etc.

All of our snow is gone and I was using the backblade last night to clean up our driveway. The machinery worked awesome -- it is the operator that needs work.

Pork can you take a pic of this for me? I want to see how much of the top pin you have resting in the hook for the blade. I am finding the spear and carryall need to be much lower setting and I'm afraid it's to low. Or does the pin just need to be resting in the hook to keep it from popping out?

alright so now that we got a separate tractor thread, back to the yard.

So I mentioned the other day that I noticed some cracking in the barn

the ground is settling and taking away the bottom support of the surface bonding cement. We had something similar happen on the house so our solution was to pour a slab patio and trim the surface bonding cement and shove a pt 2x6 under the wall to help support

So I think I am going to do the same on the barn, the issue is this fence is in the way. So it is going to be removed.

I'm going to take the whole corner out back to the left side of the pig pen and extend the fence line into the yard

And cut it back to the third post from the left

I will hopefully pour a slab which will tie into the workshop addition which will be coming out the front of the barn

after some serious debating, I think the addition is going to be much larger than the barn, I don't want to have to add on again and want to include a processing area and built in coop

slight change in plans, everything from the coop down is going away, workshop is going to be offset from the barn by about 12 feet, met with my contractor buddy tonight and he brought up a lot of good points, just waiting for the gravel pits to open now to get started
