Some Jerry Springer stuff in the front yard a few weeks back between renter guy next-door and his lady friend, but otherwise all is quiet.

Well, the real estate market has been picking up quick here in Michigan... Anything with acreage has been selling within days of hitting the market. We were just about to give up and then a 10 acre piece in with little ranch and horse barn popped up on the market the other day... we looked at it the next day and made an offer immediately. They sellers just accepted and we just had a successful building inspection. If all goes well, we should be closing within a few weeks.

It's under 20 minutes to work, around the corner from my parents and my Uncle & Aunt, and it's even on natural gas so we don't have to deal with propane prices. I'm stoked!

I guess I never really updated you'all after this post, did I? We bought the 10 acres with the little ranch and horse barn; it's been great - no complaints! Love the location, only a few neighbors, and tons of wildlife. I'll start a thread on our new place when I get a few minutes. We've got big plans for next year; baby #4 made it a little hard to get much done this year.
