I met these people in Moab, UT, their place is about 30 minutes from Moab.

As I understand their story a family from CT, that enjoyed visiting the Moab area, then found a piece of land for sale on the internet (a big piece) and decided to pick up and move with no plan other than moving.

Nice people the son acted as a bit of volunteer trail guide for myself and others for off roading/ "Jeeping."

Come to think of it I smashed the back bumper of a Jeep climbing a ledge or sliding back down the ledge, the guy helped me try to repair it.

Anyway this is their place, their home.

Their front yard view.

Posting this is making me recall these people, just good down to earth people, doing what they enjoy. Although the son was at the age where he was wondering what he could do for work in the area.

Kvr,

I don't know.

Never visited their place and asked questions.

We were always on the trails in Moab, I declined invite.

Water would always be a battle there, don't get me wrong, I love Moab, but July and August can be downright unpleasant.
