We got her started 2 nights ago. All she needed was a charged battery and some gas. It was truly an amazing event. Old vines and grass was burning off of the engine while it was running. The loader even worked. I don't trust driving her back to my place (30+ miles) in the state that she is in so we will rent the trailer for $60 next week and tow her back. Since she can move under her own power it will make the move a lot easier.

I am excited to get it home. I am guarded, however, because I remind myself that just because it started and is working now doesn't mean it isn't broken in a way I cannot see or won't break shortly after I get it home. The hydraulic hoses are older and may need attention at some point.

I want to do a quick paint job on it before winter if I can swing the time and expense. I think it would look so much better which I think in some way would give me pride in the tractor and help me want to keep it in good shape.

You mean a "Tennessee Tune Up"? All you need is some rattle can spray paint! :D
