Ok, I just ordered $159.00 of cedar oil. If this doesn't work my wife is going to kill me. Wish me luck.

So here's what I did about my flea problem:

I bought a gallon of this shit: http://texascedaroil.com/ and a bottle of dawn dish soap to act as a solvent. Then I bought one of those things that allows you to mix some concentrate with a hose. I raked my yard, mowed it short, and sprayed my soapy cedar oil all over the house and yard. There were less fleas each of the first few days after, but they were never entirely gone. It did get a whole lot more manageable. I didn't feel disgustingly covered in fleas just going outside. Still, it cost about $170 by the time I got everything, and its not like they're all gone. I dont' know if they'll return yet either. We're getting freezing rain over this weekend, so a lot of them would have probably died in this anyway. I guess the final verdict is that it was positive, but I can't say how much. the raking, mowing, and cold weather probably help too. I am glad that I didn't use poison though. I ended up wearing a lot of that cedar oil, which just means I smell like a nice closet. Really, the smell is quite pleasant and fresh, as opposed to wearing posing and smelling that.
