We homeschool our 5 and 4 year old. Our 1.5 year old will be homeschooled when she is old enough. We have family friends who have homeschooled from preschool up to high school. The kids have all done well and been accepted to good colleges, scholarships, etc. I would think that when a kid is in highschool homeschooling should be pretty straightforward -- e.g. what are your daughter's passions? Her goals? She can self-direct some of her learning. Good luck!
I looked into it. In the end I had to be really honest with myself. Dont have the time or the skill in teaching.
If I have any more kids they will go charter school.
Everyone's situation is so different. It helps if you are self employed or there is one stay at home parent. I found that my kids really taught themselves at a certain point. It was great to see them turn everyday moments into school work
