As many of you may have noticed, the Homebrewed Homesteader podcast is underway! Exciting times for the forum and for the ideals we stand for! The goal of this site is to educate, to leave something of value to others, and to have fun while doing so. We hope the podcast will be an extension of that.
Our fearless leader Kvr has already posted the first of many and can be heard here - http://thehomesteadi.....episode-1/
Now its time for the members to have that opportunity to ask questions. In the next few weeks we would like for all of you to participate and ask the questions you would like to see answered from Kvr. He truly has a wealth of knowledge and real world skills; not to mention an amazing "can do" attitude. Here is an opportunity to tap into that.
So, please post what you would like to know here

Ok, as we read a lot of your early threads we watched you undertake numerous projects, some of us probably also noticed several tools of the trade. What are the tools that you feel were the most useful or were must haves? Like a lot of us, i imagine you had to pick up some specialized tools along the way.
I dont think many people are going to pull a dick proneke and venture out with just a draw knife, file, and ax.
I imagine we would also like to hear about items you picked up that you feel were best buys or were indispensable for the homestead, like a good wood stove.
It would probably help the new homesteader start to plan and budget for the "soft" costs.
And the monkey presses the button.
