Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Philip Moore Jr. Stone House was built in 1797 by Moore, a Revolutionary War soldier. The house was restored in 1975 and added to the National Register the same year as an authentic primitive home. The house is currently run as a private gathering spot.
