Neat site that lists natural springs around the world. I would be careful about using it right away though. If there is a spring near you I would check with local health dept to see if there is any issues with the water. There is a spring close to rinkus and I and I made the comment I should grab some water.

His response, I wouldn't the state has capped it a dozen times due to high e-coli numbers and the locals keep ripping it off and drinking from it, they think it cures cancer or something

Yeah I practically can't walk 300 yards on our farm without stepping in one. They're all over out here.

DD... I have an interesting one coming out of a rock that I want hubby to catch for the house. The old one supplying our house can't keep up in the hottest months so having two would help a lot.

Some of them dry up in the summer if we don't get enough rain, but a few of them are good all year.

The gas drilling has definitely affected the springs and the wells around here.

When I first bought our place it had a wonderful sweet water well, but after they drilled a few more gas wells, it dried up.

They aren't doing those massive fracked wells in our immediate area but share the are, the water is ruined.
