Spent outside all day yesterday cleaning up the yard, we always burn all the dead stuff and then use the ash in the raised beds, plus we still had a bunch of scrap from our construction projects

plus our x-mas tree had to go

and it all quickly burned up, I need to redo the fire pit, it is looking kind of sad

so I was sitting there looking at my overgrown pond and dead cat tails

a few minutes later

and it slowly just worked around consuming all the dead stuff

much better

the chickens are mad at me, they were laying their eggs under the x-mas tree

I'm thinking of burning off the blackberries today, I might need the fire dept for that though
