I have been dragging around a softcover version of this book for a long time. It brings amusement and a wealth of information. Although out dated by a couple hundred years, especially in terms like "Almonds of the Ears" or describing herbs for pregnancy under "Womens' Diseases" it has most everything but pictures of the herbs.
Although I have read there is a reference book of pictures of the herbs which he did to go with the written but have never been able to find a copy.
Found the pdf file of the book. Yeah!

Mausert’s formulas bridged a gap between the Medical Eclectics and the
current “Herbal Renaissance”, and, together with Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss (a
populist, self-taught Neo-Thompsonian of the Purge-and-Puke school) they are
almost the sole published remnants of The Herbal Dark Ages.
The first link (Kloss) if you scroll down should have a list of pdf's. The book and a bunch of religious ones.
