I don't think I would be able to do this since we have so much ledge on our property, might still try doing it though

Between 25 and 30 feet. In a year or two I may drilling a new deep well that takes a submersible pump. Looks like you can do it yourself.

Something like this. A small jet pump with a built in pressure tank. I used one with a built in tank because it helped me get running water up and running with minimal effort. I later installed another larger pressure tank in-line.
