First it was 10000 barrels of maple syrup stolen in Quebec in August

Now i just heard on the radio this morning that 400 tons of corn was stolen from a farm during one night.
The raising prices of food are going to make those food thefts more and more attractive to the professional.

that's the thing. it has to be some organized pros with someone to buy it from them.
they said it was 10-12 truckloads worth.

Corn and syrup stolen? Sounds like the beginnings of a corn mash to me. There is going to be a lot of drunks.
Someone has got some serious connections and know something that the rest of us don't.

well, maple syrup is pretty expensive and there isn't that much being produced

yeah, wasn't there a issue with the production this year due to temperature or something, I thought I read that somewhere
