that would be a pretty sweet idea, buy cheap campers off of craigs list and convert them
I think if I were to do this, I would convert campers/trailers people already have. Or do special orders with new campers. Also, another reason to do new units, is you can specialize in one type and streamline your process and the parts needed. Does propane count as "off the grid"?

most people consider propane as still being tied to the grid, it has been a hotly contested debate over the years if you are truly off grid if you are still tied to the propane grid
