i've talked with these people it will be nearly 40k when all said and done... thoughts?

oh yea its either 30*24 for 37k or 30*30 for 41k... 3 12*12 stalls and a 12*12 tack room. Loft upstairs.

Thanks KVR. That is really helpful. I havent shopped this around much and wish I had the confidence to try and build something myself. I showed it to a builder or 2 from the east coast and they also thought it was a fair deal.

another option would be have a local contractor build it or at least price it out. Tell him you would like to learn some new skills and would like to do some labor for him on it to help offset the costs. If you have the time of course. Might be worth taking a weeks vacation.
