@bvr68 how rustic do you guys want to be? It's about 40 minutes away
Rustic camp in central Maine with 135 feet of water frontage. The camp is 361 square feet and has an out house. It is the second to last camp on Wheaton Road (private dead end road with no association fees). Taxes are approximately $800 a year. The camp is a one room camp with bunk beds and a pull out couch. There is a dining area and kitchen area. A COZY propane heater heats the camp. The pond is a state maintained trophy bass pond. The camp sits on .63 acres of owned, not leased land. Westerly views provide beautiful sunsets overlooking an island where eagles nest. Loons abound and add to the tranquility of the location. Because the lake is only 14 feet deep, it provides the best possible bass fishing anywhere and keeps the speed boats off the lake. A Maine wildlife Mangagement Area lies less than 2 miles away for excellent hunting opportunities.
