I am man enough to admit I enjoyed the activity as a young man with my grandmother, haven't done it in years though and would like to re-learn the knowledge I have lost. Any of you people do it?

My grandmother was a great knitter. Wish I had learned more from her.

I'm trying to relearn the skill and have done some small things, lots of wash cloths, but I am determined to learn socks. I'm just struggling with having the time to practice

I crocheted as a kid too. My grandmother used to bring her crocheting with her everywhere she went, back in the days of the giant grandma purse. We would be sitting somewhere waiting and she'd pull out the crochet hook and yarn. I've still got several blankets and throws she crocheted for me, and I think my mom still has quite a few crocheted stuffed animals she did for me too.

My mom taught me and made me several blankets, which I still have and treasure. I have not done anything with it in years, still have the hooks and yarn.
