Hey all
just wondering if you guys have watched this show at all, it's a really good shoe about small holding by a guy named Hugh fearnly-whittingstall who has enough with living in the city and starts his own small holding. really good for starting info as he does everything from scratch, and always asks seasoned professionals in the fields for advice and help. he has even started a river cottage Australia (which i applied for but didn't make it through as i am not a chef)

have seen some of his stuff before, love it. Just post the link and the forum will auto embed for you like above, will work for vimeo vids as well. What was the application process like?

i had to answer heaps of questions of how i feel living off my own food and own land, i thought i done pritty well hey. but the mian questions that let me down were 1.are you a chef 2. would u relocate if you had to
i was worried that i would be relocating my wife and son to some middle of nowhere place in australia in which ,y wife would later leave me because all she had to talk to was some chicks and goats and no other family in close reach lol so i answered no
but it feels good when people io know well tell me that i would have been a better candidate than the person they picked = ) always makes ya feel good
