as the saying goes, you're only as old as you feel

Some days I feel younger than others. I find that as long as I intersperse the really hard physical days with some easier ones I so fairly well

I dream about it. At this point is like to just be able to take a bath without having to boil and carry pots of water!

I have a gas hot water heater. The house is plumbed. There was a well but it collapsed.

I was thinking that I needed a specific type of pump but a friend who was the one that helped me finish the place said he could hook it up with the pump that it have! I just need to come up with the money for a few supplies. He was just out the other night and I never thought of asking him before

I'm getting too old to think about doing it all by myself. HA

I'm thinking if I have enough time to teach my kids, so they can teach their kids, I did alright.

I sure didn't plan it this way. I have three kids. One lives in la one lives in Morgantown. And one still homesteads on her little place in Ohio with her family.

My grandparents were small farmers. The soonest my mom was able, she moved the family to the suburbs.

All I ever wanted to be was a farm wife.

My mom could never understand it!
